We are very sorry about this oversight and are committed to properly crediting all technology that we use. Yes, they did use it, and they (Blind Squirrel, the studio behind the port) apologise for not crediting the engine New developments regarding Sonic Colors: Ultimate and Godot.

The jam will run for four days to give everyone a chance to compete during this weekend. Having a seasoned developer behind the wheel has brought a lot of attention to the jam, with more than a thousand participants already. Stop Waiting for Godot game jam - Run by Terry Cavanagh, creator of VVVVVV, Super Hexagon, and Dicey Dungeons, among others. So far at least, with those numbers, everything is coming up Gotm. Maybe something close to the Unity Distribution Portal? That would be something. Overall, if all the things the have planed come into fruition, Gotm.io will undoubtedly become even more of a central platform in the Godot ecosystem. Right now, jam #8 is still going on, with 2 days and 5 hours left, at the time of sending. The latest jam is always on gotm.io/jam/gotm-jam.

Since jam number 4, the event was moved to Gotm.io's own system, and it's slowly growing back up. The first three jams were hosted on Itch.io, and clearly got a boost because of it. Other than the Gles2 tag, used by ~31% of the games on the platform, the tags are fairly close to Itch's tags, with 2D ( ~9.7%) Platformer and Pixel art are all in the top tags. The last six months, even only counting half of August, saw a ~40.3% increase compared to the previous six months in total games, 135.5% in public games. Gotm had 1409 games published as of August 16th. Still, I think is safe to assume the month did just fine. Gotm team was kind enough to send me this data, but the issue was supposed to come out earlier, so the data is a couple of weeks old, hence, August is incomplete. You can catch the issues on Gotm.io news section Let's see those numbers! Future pricing (Aimed at studios, mostly, I think)Īlso, this guys run one of the best newsletters I follow (coughcoughmuchbetterthanthisonecoughcough) and I can't recommend it enough.Gotm Publishing Program - I covered this in a previous issue.About us - Meet the team behind the platform.Roadmap - Waiting for that front page 2.0!.Gotm does a good job telling its own story and goals, and if you're interested, you can check it here: In the future, they have plans for premium services, Switch publishing, a new design, and a bunch of other things Launched in December 2019, Gotm is a Godot exclusive platform trying to make it easier for devs to publish, promote, and profit from their games I don't think many people receiving this newsletter are going to be unfamiliar with Gotm.io, but here's a quick rundown just in case: "Gotm is pretty much as close to a one-click publishing solution for hosting Godot games online as you are going to find" The platform, a four-dev project run by Macaroni Studios, a web/app development company, is awesome. Hopefully getting FSR working on this is a great step to move the engine towards a friendly engine.Gotm's Twitter account boast about being "The #GodotEngine Platform!", and it's entirely deserved. It doesn’t ask for any restitutions or other weird creative ownership of games made and has an interesting focus on node-based architecture.
GODOT SONIC ENGINE SOFTWARE
It seems that Gadot has a lot of progress to develop software open source. In UE4, AMD recommended to turn off other CAS implementations, but the comments on github suggest to turn FSRs instead of FCAS. The project seems to arrive in July when FSR became available as open source, but it wasn’t enough for Gadot to do that.Īs with the Unreal Engine 4, it’s a good idea to watch any sharpening shaders. Yesterday, the task was taken to Github for what appears to be a few months. The switch was noticed on the AMD Reddit. That gives indie devs a tremendous amount of power without having to spend a penny.īlack Friday 2021 deals are the best places to get the best early Black Friday deals. Open Source technologies are the cyber utopia I had been dreaming of. But it works on a whole range of hardware and thats why it’s so good to see it come to Godot. It isn’t as powerful as Nvidias DLSS in many ways.
